I painted this the year my son was born. I titled it after I painted it, having "discovered" the subject upon reflection after-the-fact. I often create "organic" compositions (no intent, just free-flowing design - stream-of-consciousness painting) which I title after "finding" the subject, once painted. I suppose this is common in decorative art, apart from true abstractions of intentional subject matter. Please note, that I have since discarded the artist signature used in this piece... I decided that it was unprofessional and in poor taste to plagiarize Albrecht Dürer's signature, albeit in homage to both him and my father, who used a similar (but quite original) signature.
